Mint Green Goodness

I recently fell in LOVE with this mint green color when shopping for beads to make fresh new summer designs! This color is the epitome of a thirst quenching color on a hot summer day… it will brighten up any summer outfit! I made two variations of this necklace, as seen above. The first with chunky sea-foam green gemstones for my festival-goers, and the second is a classier look with round pearl-shaped beads for my Audrey Hepburn-type girls. I paired these light green colored beads with a gold hue to give a cheerful and fresh summer look. These necklaces will go perfectly with your favorite summer cotton sundress for an easy-breezy, flowey look with a pop of color! The best part is that this Mint Green color will make any outfit fresh and glowing. I made both Double Stranded Statement Necklaces using Mint Green 6mm Glass Beads, Aqua-Colored Opaque 8mm Glass Beads, 6mm Glass Czech Gold Beads with a Fire Polish, and Green Oval Stones in a 15x20mm size (as seen in the 1st design). Spring Frills and Thrills

Wow! What a fun month it has been! I just moved back to Cincinnati after spending my 1st month of rotations in Chicago participating in an HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy and primary care rotation! Boy oh boy did I learn a ton! Although I deeply miss my time in Chicago, I’m excited to be back at my apartment for more jewelry designing and Jewelry By Andie B. love!

While in Chicago, I did get a brief chance to make this lovely necklace. My handmade White, Blue, and Gold Tassel Pendant Necklace is so beautiful you won’t be able to take your eyes off of it! This necklace is pure boho chic and perfect for every summer style. Pair this pendant tassel necklace with your favorite festival outfit, or dress it up with a skirt and crop top, like I did in the photos above! Although this necklace looks fab in pictures, it is even more gorgeous and earthy in person! I made this necklace using Blue Howlite 3mm Round Beads, Turquoise Howlite Stone Beads, White Howlite Round 8mm Stone Beads, and White Shell 6mm Spacer Beads. Dainty Pieces

Lately I have been obsessing over dainty, minimalist pieces! They’re so easy to wear with any outfit, and they gracefully accentuate your neckline. As a result of this obsession, I decided to venture out and make my own! I believe my necklaces have a special edge because both the gold chain and the gold tube pieces were shipped to me from halfway around the world, from Turkey! Owning a piece of jewelry that came from so far away definitely makes me feel more special as I’m wearing it throughout the day. Receiving these pieces from Turkey made the designing process so much more rewarding and thrilling, knowing that I was about to make a special item that traveled halfway around the world! This necklace is one of my recent favorites — it’s a cool, grey-tone, lightweight piece that can be paired with any type of outfit, formal or informal. For only $28 it’s such a steal! It’s that one piece of jewelry that you will want to wear with EVERYTHING because it meshes so easily with any color scheme, and is easy to throw on over the head! Although this necklace can easily be worn without messing with the clasp, a behind-the-neck clasp is there in case you decide to turn it into a wrap bracelet, by winding it around the wrist. This multi-faceted necklace will be your new favorite staple item, as it has quickly become mine!
